Crêpe Back Satin, or Crêpe Satin, describes a kind of satin that have its back in crêpe.

With its face looks smooth and lustrous, its back looks ribbed and pebbly, both sides of this fabric can actually serve as the right side. Apart from having a firmer hand than common plain satin, its face side is showing a wrinkle-like appearance, which makes it looks satiny, but in a special way.

Commonly used in bridal gowns, evening dresses and related accessories, or decorative materials.
