Collection: Velvet
Velvet is known as a highly precious materials for winter or indoor garment. It is quite a versatile fabric that not limited the use on occasional gowns, but also can be applied on like men's jacket, hats, handbags, or even pajamas. It is also a common material for decorative curtains (in theaters or in homes), piano covers, book covers and upholstering furniture.
VelvetĀ is a pile fabric that gives out soft touches, glamorous and reflective appearance so it demonstrate a layering effect by shadow and reflections. This, generally as a whole, upgrades the class of your design.
Velvet's quality is directly proportional to its pile density - the denser it is, the less likely pile-leaning occurs, which ultimately leads to uneven dark and shiny spots appearing. Velvet is also proportional to its composition. While polyester and nylon are creating its soft touch, silk, cotton and rayonĀ couldĀ gives an even better experience.
Remember, to avoid pile distortion, velvet could be treated by dry clean only.Ā
